I am Arne de Laat, an photography enthusiast living in the Netherlands. My photography started in 2004 with the purchase of a compact camera, and then some years later upgrading to a DSLR camera. Soon after I started with photography I also discovered the wonderful world of time-lapse. After having made many time-lapse movies and gained much experience in this field I wrote (and still update) the time-lapse guide for other people interested in time-lapse.

My interests in photography subjects are vast, but as can be seen from my photos here my main subjects are nature (flora and fauna), events (festivals and balfolk dance) and recently an increased interest in architectural photography.
